We do a lot of analytics work in the HR space. Many of our clients have lots of data but no good way of creating a high level view of HR performance and human capital measures across the business. One of our long standing clients approached us to do just that. Our solution was comprised of a front-end data visualization built in SAP Dashboard (aka Xcelsius) and the back-end was a simple Microsoft Excel template they used to update their metrics and commentary each month. Simple but effective.
